Business Research

ARVEXA ACADEMY · BUSINESS RESEARCH

Find a market worth exploring.

A good idea is a starting point.
Explore the product. Understand the buyer. Look for evidence.

Start your research

01 / EXPLORE PRODUCTS

Start with what you could create.

02 / EXPLORE NICHES

Choose a person.
Find a specific need.

A niche becomes useful when you can describe who is buying, why they need it and when they will use it.

ILLUSTRATIVE RESEARCH DIRECTION

An intimate wedding, beautifully coordinated.

Buyer: a couple planning a small wedding who want matching stationery they can personalize.

A product to investigate

An editable invitation and matching menu in one consistent visual style.

A question to investigate

Do buyers need mobile invitations, print-ready files, multiple languages or all three?

Try a longer name, venue address and menu in the layout before offering personalization.

These are starting points for research, not claims about bestselling niches.

03 / CHECK DEMAND

Look for evidence.
Then look again.

Use several signals together. A popular phrase alone does not establish demand for your specific product.

01

Start with buyer language

Write a precise search phrase: the product, the buyer and the occasion. Compare broad and specific versions.

“Wedding template” → “editable bilingual wedding menu”
02

Inspect actual offers

Study relevant listings and reviews. Note what is included, what buyers praise and which problems repeat.

Record the listing URL, review date and the exact observation.
03

Check the timing

Compare interest across time and markets. Separate recurring needs from a seasonal peak or a short-lived theme.

Record the country, date range and source alongside every finding.

YOUR EVIDENCE LOG

What did you actually find?

A search suggestion shows wording. A review describes one buyer’s experience. Neither is a complete sales report.

04 / COMPETITION & PRICING

Compare the whole offer.

Look beyond the price. Format, personalization, usage rights and customer support change what the buyer receives.

Compare the same format and currency. Note sale pricing, taxes and shipping separately; digital files and physical goods are different offers.

Find a useful difference

A clearer buyer guide, a less-served language, a practical size or better accessibility can be worth exploring. Use the research to solve a real problem.

05 / VALIDATE YOUR IDEA

Make the next step smaller.

Turn your research into one focused test before building a whole collection.

Your idea, in one sentence.
